WiFi Occupancy Measurement Solution

Organisations are under growing pressure to make the most of their buildings. Office spaces are often poorly understood: too much space in some areas, not enough in others, and facilities teams servicing floors that are rarely occupied. Real estate decisions are costly, and making them without solid data leads to waste, inefficiency, and a higher CO₂ footprint. 12CU gives organisations the occupancy intelligence they need to make those decisions well.

No additional hardware. Real-time insight. AI-generated trend reports within the first week of implementation.

KEY CAPABILITIES

AI-Powered Trend Analysis

Within the first week of implementation, AI-generated reports are already available — identifying patterns, peak moments, and underutilised areas automatically. Ongoing reports are delivered weekly or at your preferred frequency, so your clients can act on what the data shows rather than investigate it themselves.

Real-Time Occupancy Insight: Receive live visibility into space availability across the entire building or campus. No guesswork. No manual counts. Just real-time data from the WiFi infrastructure already in place.

Data-Driven Decisions: Make confident decisions about your real estate footprint. Accurate occupancy data reveals what space is genuinely needed — and what can be consolidated, repurposed, or released.

Analyse User Groups: Analyse how different teams and user groups actually use the space across floors and zones. Enable smarter floor planning, desk allocation, and neighbourhood design based on real patterns, not assumptions.

Turn Occupancy Data into Better Workplaces: Understand which spaces work, which are overlooked, and how layout changes affect usage — enabling evidence-based design decisions.

Stop Servicing Empty Spaces: Cut operational costs by aligning cleaning, maintenance, and facilities routines to actual occupancy. Start acting on what the data shows.

Complete Occupancy Intelligence with GoBright

As part of GoBright, 12CU’s WiFi-based occupancy intelligence can now be combined with GoBright’s sensor technology and room and desk booking data. WiFi delivers the building-wide view — fast, cost-effective, and without additional hardware. Sensors add granular, desk-level accuracy where it matters most. Together, they give organisations the most complete picture of how their buildings are used.

INTEGRATION WITH YOUR SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS

12CU is now part of the GoBright platform — a fully integrated smart workplace ecosystem covering room booking, desk booking, visitor management, digital signage, sensor-based occupancy, and analytics. WiFi-based occupancy intelligence from 12CU sits alongside these solutions, adding building-wide context and depth to the data organisations already collect.

Why combine WiFi with sensors? The best of both worlds for a complete picture.

AI on top of both: GoBright’s AI-generated reports draw on WiFi data, sensor data, and booking data together — giving facilities, real estate, and workplace teams a single, complete picture.

Complementary insights: sensors provide individual-level accuracy; WiFi delivers group-level patterns and building-wide trends.

Cost-effective coverage: WiFi covers the whole building using existing infrastructure; sensors go where pinpoint accuracy matters most.

Scalability: WiFi scales across any building or campus without additional hardware; sensors scale where granular data is needed.

Who We Are

12CU is a specialised software team with one clear mission: transform occupancy patterns into actionable insights that help organisations use their buildings better.

Founded in 2016, we have spent nearly a decade uncovering utilisation insight from WiFi network data. We started from a real observation: buildings — and specific spaces within them — are consistently underused, and the decisions made about them are rarely based on evidence.

Over time, we have integrated advanced AI into our analysis processes, enabling trend detection, automated reporting, and deeper insights than simple headcount data allows. In May 2026, 12CU became part of GoBright, combining our WiFi-based occupancy intelligence with GoBright’s smart workplace platform and sensor portfolio.

Together, we help organisations in commercial real estate, corporate offices, and university campuses make smarter decisions — reducing cost, improving experience, and lowering their CO₂ footprint.

TRUSTED BY LEADING ORGANISATIONS

From large universities to corporate real estate teams, organisations use 12CU to understand and optimise how their buildings are actually used.
